The Power of the Mind: A Personal Perspective

Wow does this subject really hit home for me. The power of the mind — man, do I have so many experiences and stories that I could share about this. It would take me forever to tell them all, lol, but that’s why this website is here: for me to document all the experiences.

Beyond Science: The Mysteries of the Mind

Anyhow, about the power of the mind. I believe there is so much that our science can’t explain yet about it. You can throw in the power of visualization in there too. In terms of energy healing, the power of the mind is everything. Our thoughts and intentions direct energy to what we focus on. That in itself is an incredible statement! Our thoughts and intentions direct energy to what we focus on — wow!

What We Focus On, We Create

This means whatever we focus on, we create an energetic cord with, and we send our energy towards it. This also means the sky’s the limit when it comes to what we can create with our thoughts. Just a little side note here: do you understand now why we have been bombarded with negative media for forever? They are programming us to think negatively. Trust me — they know the secret that what we focus on, we create. We create our own reality. But I digress.

My Foolish Curiosity and Painful Lessons

I have had so many experiences because of my own foolishness and curiosity as well. I remember a time when I wouldn’t guard my thoughts, and I experimented with what would happen if I tried certain things. Well, this didn’t go well for me, and at times it almost destroyed and killed me for my foolish curiosity. At least now I have paid the price and know better.

Experiments with Energy: A Warning

One example was during a difficult time — I wanted to know what would happen if I sent my negative energy toward another person I felt had a weak aura or vulnerable spot. This is hard to explain, but if you’re energy-sensitive, you might know what I am talking about. People are either strong, weak, or in-between. Energetically strong people typically have strong auras or protection, but weak people are vulnerable and have weak spots — and you can spot this if you know what to look for.
So what I did was find weak people with weak auras and visualize my negative energy, usually my anger, being directed and connecting with these people’s weak spots. Well, the universe thought this was a big no-no because I was creating negative karma toward myself.

The Consequences of Misusing Mental Power

That energy I sent did indeed connect with these people, and I can say it created a negative reaction for both them and me. It was like I was now tied to these people. I would bump into them around town because of the cords that were created between us, and it would be extremely awkward. Subconsciously these people knew it was me who did that to them, but consciously they couldn’t explain it. I honestly feared for my life around some of these people because I thought they might snap and hurt me. It was a very bad time for me.

The Mind’s Influence on the Physical World

The power of the mind also has the ability to calm things down or amplify negative things. I am reminded of the power of the mind on electricity and physical machines as well. I remember being curious — this is how I learned so many things — just by being curious. But I have also paid a price for knowing, sometimes. Lol.

Calming Machines with Energy

Anyhow, I remember listening to appliances and the noise they make. I could then tap into that energy with my mind to calm it down if it was an unpleasant noise. This is the truth: you can really affect anything just with your mind. Everything in this universe is connected to our minds.
When I was connecting with an appliance — like a noisy refrigerator — I could then calm that noisy fridge down with a bit of effort and make it more balanced so it wouldn’t make that noise anymore.

Vehicles and Their Energetic Imprint

This applies to vehicles too. You can make noisy vehicles less noisy just with your mind and calming energy as well. Just visualize and direct your calm energy to that noise and it will work wonders — try it yourself if you like.
This brings me to another point. I mentioned noisy vehicles. Well, the owners of those noisy vehicles say a lot about them too. Whoever is driving a noisy vehicle has created that noisy vehicle just with their own energy. That’s unless they bought the vehicle from somebody else. But let’s say they were the original owners and that vehicle is now beat up and loud. It’s because their own personal energy beat up that noisy vehicle.

Your Energy Affects Your Space

They have spent so much time behind the wheel of that car that their own energy has been directed and sent into the car. And if this person is an angry, unbalanced person — which they usually are — they are directing that unbalanced, angry energy when they are behind the wheel. And that energy goes and attaches itself somewhere. You guessed it — it goes into the car. And after that car receives that negative energy so much, it becomes beat up and loud — a real piece of crap on the road.

The Importance of Emotional Balance

I have mentioned that our own personal energy fields, if they are unbalanced, create an unbalanced space wherever we spend the most time. So if we spend the most time in our car or home and we are unbalanced, then the physical car and home become unbalanced as well.
So that is one reason why it would serve us well to be balanced emotionally as individuals — because it affects not only our reality but our own personal spaces too.

Why Shadow Work Matters

That’s why I think shadow work is so important — so we look at those unbalanced areas in our lives honestly and begin to heal from them. Being an unbalanced person is very self-destructive, in my opinion. Everywhere these people go, they bring chaos with them — because their own inner being is in a chaotic state.
I would imagine these people have relationship problems as well and addictive personalities. I know this because I used to be one of them. I had major trauma in my own energy field, but I have overcome that for the most part, and I would like to see others set free from all of it as well.

A Final Reflection

Reflecting on my personal journey, I can say without a doubt that the power of the mind is not just a theory — it’s a lived reality. Whether through energy healing, visualization, or simply observing the impact our thoughts have on the physical world, I’ve come to understand that our minds are deeply connected to the energy around us. The experiences I’ve shared — some painful, some enlightening — have taught me the importance of taking responsibility for our thoughts and intentions. When we focus on negativity, we attract chaos. When we send out calm, balanced energy, we create harmony not only within ourselves but in our external environment as well.

This understanding has led me to see how important emotional balance and shadow work truly are. Healing from past trauma and unbalanced patterns isn’t just about feeling better — it’s about reclaiming our power and influencing the world around us in a more positive way. Whether it’s our relationships, our homes, or even the machines we use, everything is connected to our inner state.
The mind is a tool — powerful beyond measure — but like all tools, it must be handled with awareness and care. I’ve learned this the hard way, but I’m grateful for every lesson. I hope that by sharing my story, others will be inspired to explore the power of their own minds and begin to consciously shape their reality for the better.
